A friend & I were talking about the Slaves of the Republic arc in TCW and it occurred to me, how the *hell* does Anakin square his past as a slave with leading an army of slaves? Slick points out that that’s what the clone army is (in The Hidden Enemy) and he says it right to Anakin’s face. And I doubt Anakin is so willfully blind as to overlook the fact that the clones are a) people with individual and unique personalities and b) didn’t have a choice about serving and don’t get paid. Thoughts?
